Many of us suffer with anxiety and depression with a wide range of intensity. The more we repress and ignore, the greater the beast within will grow. In other words, “The only way to it (peace) is through it.”

“Pure Intentions” is the first of a series depicting the emotions and often indescribable feelings of the anxious person. Depicted is the moment when panic and realization meet. The moment when one’s heart doesn’t drop but explodes into one’s throat.

It is the OWNING of this feeling. The owning of acknowledgement and acceptance. While the imagery may be severe, there is also beauty in the pain. Because with this acknowledgement, we become happier, stronger people.
